A Texas woman is suing a local Pasadena grocery store after being injured while in the store.

In 2010, Maria Granados was allegedly walking through an aisle at the Sellers Brothers grocery store, off of Strawberry Road, when she slipped and fell due to water on the floor from the store’s produce section. As a result, Granados was injured and is seeking damages against the store.

Earlier this week, Granados filed a premises liability lawsuit against the store at the Harris County District Court. Along with damages, she is also seeking court costs.

The amount of damages being sought is undetermined at this time.
